The Covina, California, Grow House Where Illegal Marijuana Was Being Produced Caught Fire.

Officials said that when they responded to a fire at an illegal grow house in Covina on Monday, they found over 400 marijuana plants inside.

Before 9:30 a.m., a representative for the Los Angeles County Fire Department reported a structure fire in the 19000 block of Lorencita Drive. Even the county sheriff’s deputies were called to the scene.

At first, firefighters moved into “defensive mode” as enormous flames blasted through the roof of the house. About an hour later, the fire was contained, but smoke still rose from the first and second floors of the house.

There Were No Reported Injuries.

Subsequently, a Sheriff’s Office Spokesman Stated that Over 400 Marijuana Plants Had Been Discovered.
