During a Traffic Stop, Florence County Officers Locate More Than 100 Pounds of Marijuana!

A traffic stop in Florence County, South Carolina, led to the discovery of more than 100 pounds of marijuana. On Monday, Florence County sheriff’s deputies stopped a car on I-95 near mile marker 164 for speeding.
During the stop, the deputies said they had a good reason to search the car, which is what they did and where they found about $300,000 worth of marijuana. Hongzhou Yu, 34, of Covina, California, was arrested by deputies.
He is accused of trafficking marijuana, which carries a maximum sentence of 25 years in prison and a $25,000 fine if he is found guilty. Yu is being kept at the Florence County Detention Center while he waits for a bond hearing.
