Officers in Willits According to Sergeant Jordan Walstrom, the armed robbery occurred at a “cannabis-related business” in the 300 block of Creekside Drive at 12:53 this afternoon.
Authorities said four of the five suspects were armed with firearms. According to Sergeant Walstrom, the suspects drove south on Highway 101 in a black Jeep SUV while carrying 50 kilograms of marijuana.
At about 3:03 p.m., we spoke with Sergeant Walstrom, who informed us that WPD officers could have one of the suspects in custody but could not confirm it.
Initial scanner reports identified the robbery suspects as five adult black males. One was described as having black skin and gold teeth. A second was described as donning a green hoodie.
There was another car, driven by a younger black male adult with a slim build and permed and colored hair, that scanner traffic suggested may have been involved in the robbery.
