Syracuse Woman Arrested For Carrying Cocaine, Marijuana Into Oneida Country Correctional Institution!
Syracuse resident Sharron L. Anderson, 57, was charged with second-degree marketing prison contraband on February 18. It’s a “Class A” misdemeanor in the Empire States. It happened at the Oneida County Correctional Institution while visitors were there.
Anderson was seen by corrections officers in the visitation room of the Oneida County jail delivering a box to an inmate. Corrections The officers took the package away from the convict and called the sheriff’s highway patrol immediately.
Anderson was arrested by sheriff’s deputies after they arrived on the scene because he was allegedly involved in the distribution of illegal items to inmates. Cocaine and synthetic Marijuana were found after further inspection of the package’s contents.
Anderson was able to be processed and released on an appearance ticket with the condition that he return it to the Town of Whitestown at a later date. Inquiries into the matter are still ongoing at this time.
